Tour overview
Black Peak is one of the most iconic and mysterious summits in the Sharr Mountains, standing tall at 2,536 meters and offering a challenging yet immensely rewarding ascent for adventure seekers. The trail to the peak begins near Prevalla and gradually transforms from forest paths into high-altitude alpine terrain, featuring rocky outcrops and steep ridgelines that demand stamina, determination, and a spirit of exploration.
As you climb, the landscape shifts dramatically—from lush forest undergrowth to open meadows, and finally to windswept rocky paths where every step brings a deeper sense of awe. Upon reaching the summit, you’ll be greeted with unparalleled 360-degree views, stretching across the Sharr Mountains into North Macedonia. On clear days, the horizon feels endless, with valleys, rivers, and peaks laid out like a natural map.
This is a destination for true mountain lovers—a place where silence is only broken by the wind and the occasional cry of an eagle soaring above.
